EXCLUSIVE: Writer-director Maggie Betts has signed with WME for representation.
Her latest film, The Burial starring Jamie Foxx, Jurnee Smollett, and Tommy Lee Jones recently premiered to rave reviews at Toronto Film Festival and will be released theatrically by Amazon/MGM on October 6.
Her debut feature Novitiate premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, winning the Jury Award for Direction, and was picked up for distribution by Sony Pictures Classic. She was also nominated for a Gotham Award for Breakthrough Director.
Betts continues to be managed by George Heller at Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
