Ryan O’Neal, who has died at the age of 82, is being remembered by his co-stars today.
“So sad to hear the news of Ryan O’Neal’s passing,” tweeted Barbra Streisand. “We made two films together, What’s Up, Doc? and The Main Event. He was funny and charming, and he will be remembered.”
Lee Grant, who co-starred with O’Neil in the ’60s nighttime soap Peyton Place, wrote, “Impossible to believe that Ryan O’Neal is gone. I felt so welcomed by his Peyton Place, the first big production brave enough to welcome me back from the blacklist. An incredible talent, an incredible beauty. A gift of an artist we’re luck to have so much of captured forever.”
Also posting tributes were the official pages of director Stanley Kubrick (he directed O’Neal in Barry Lyndon) and The Andy Warhol Foundation.
See those tributes below. Deadline will update this post as others arrive.
